    Hi all,

Im looking to but a sega rally 1 arcade machine in ireland.

Ideally, id like to but from a gamer but if not, if anyone knows of one that is still in their local game hall, chippy, down the back of their local pub etc... i would have no problem trying to procure one from them instead.

As a fall back, point blank 1/2 would also be high up on the list.

I know there was a fantastic thread on here where a chap posted his adventures getting his sega rally cab down to cork, it is the one that was sold in cabra and ive chatted to him a few months ago and he doesnt seem willing to part with it.

    Thanks guys.

Theres a point blank in applegreen at the Enfield exit heading towards Dublin, there may be a Sega Rally too although it could be a ridge racer, I can't remember.
Mitch might be your man to contact

Quirkey's on O'Connell St in Dublin got rid of theirs last year, as it was having issues; might be worth a punt to see if it's just gone into storage.

UK. £350. No photos. Just reading the ad again it is classed as a project machine.
Basically what I have is a Sega Rally Championship Twin...complete with topper and coinbox. Both have working monitors and cosmetically are not bad for these machines.

Right Side Machine - Working monitor, Working Boardset (no gfx errors etc), good strong sound, good CP and wheel. Force feedback does not work, the PSU seems to be lacking 12v and someone has cut the FFB wires near the steering wheel...You can start game, steer, accelerate and basically play..just no FFB...Brake pedal moves fine but think someones nicked the Pot of it.....All in all pretty easy to get to 100%

Left Side Machine - Working monitor, Working Sound, Boardset has GFX issue, missing FFB control board, CP OK but steering wheel rubber cover is knackered so needs another wheel.

So basically a good project machine..These are getting damn hard to get now so looking for £350 as a good boardset and monitors are worth that alone

    Pickup is Coalville, Leicestershire.

My local bowling alley (in Ennis) have a Sega Rally twin, think it's running Sega Rally 2.

I think Shannon Airport has an upright single player one. It was in a part of the airport I haven't looked at in a while though so who knows if it's still there.

Nice cab. Nice AWSD in the background too, although the seller thinks it's an Astro City for some reason.

Think the AWSD has been gutted too. Check the monitor.
    Hmmmm.

That looks like a Sony badge on the monitor - I reckon it's a 29 inch Trinitron like the one I have.

Would make a good replacement if the monitor was dead, but jeez, de-case the yolk!

He said he's running a Dreamcast in it, so I'd say it's basically just a standard TV setup. No jamma at all.

Looks like it unfortunately. You should see the horrible hack job he did to another of his previous cabs too:

Jesus. Why does he do that to the cabs?

The shell of the Atomiswave looks in decent nick though.
