Graduate Medicine - Neurological Disease

    Hi,

I'm currently a final year B.Sc. student in Trinity and I'm seriously thinking about perusing a career in medicine via the graduate medicine programme.

I've managed well throughout my degree so far, despite having quite a debilitating neurological disorder. I realise medicine can be quite challenging both academically and physically. I'm more concerned about the physical stress particularly during the intern years.

I'm just wondering if any medical graduates/students/hopefuls with a disability or physically challenging condition has any advice or relative experience to share? It would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

(Apologies I just realised how misleading the title of this thread might appear)
