self catering 2 hrs from kildare

    Just looking for some advice/recommendations....my husband and I and our 1 yr old hope to get away for 3 nights in feb. We're looking for self catering accomadation within 2 hrs of kildare. Preferably by the sea with plenty of walks etc. Oh and a nice house would be nice too!! Thanks! !

    Gold Coast Hotel, Waterford. By the sea, very close to Dungarvan. Lots to do and should be good prices in Feb. They offer self catering houses.

    If you could stretch the journey time a little more, Achill in Mayo or Enniscrone in Sligo. Both great places, lovely long beaches and plenty of places to stay in!

    check out Croan cottages outside Kilkenny, absolutely gorgeous self catering accommodation and great food and lovely walks on the doorstep. Have stayed there a few times and love the place.
