Do you have a dvd collection greater than.... 109? If we are counting Pirate copies, probably
are you married? Nope, dunno If I'll ever bother; It seems irrelevant. My folks didn't marry till I was 11 doesn't seem like their relationship changed in any way
are you human? I'm actually a replicant. Don't tell Harrison Ford
Everywhere i go! This is a song title opinion? I'll put you in my pocket, who will know?
on a scale of 1 to duck how fast is a drink? about 3.5 donalds
name the 5 items around you at this present moment A guitar tuner, a lighter, tobacco, a tv remote and a 2 litre bottle of coke

What would you say if i told you i hate you? (from a song im listening to :pac:) haters gonna hate!
do you wear glasses? 20/20 baby!
do you drink tea? I'd replace my blood with it if I could. Two tea bags, no sugar, barest drop of milk for colour and leave to steep for 5 minutes. Lovely!

what do you think of limerick CITAY? i think it's one of the most wonderful places in the country. The "Journalists" of the Star and Sun should be ashamed of the damage they've done to it's reputation. Galway has the arty reputation but if you know where to look Limerick has one of the best music scenes around. The people are great the nightlife is great too. Shame about the accent though!

Junco my good man, welcome. Now, answer me these questions 3...in fact I will have more then 3 questions I just enjoy saying that.

How are you? I'm super, thanks for asking
What is a Junco? A Junco partner is an addict. A partner to junk. Its from an old New orleans blues song. "Oh Down the road come a junco partner, boy he was loaded as can be" I don't do smack but Whiskey and grass have been my partners for years
Have you ever been so high that you suspected the weed may have been laced with acid? :confused:yes, Got some from home lately. It was majestic. I could smell sounds and hear colours and then i promptly passed out
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Hopefully in canada doing something related to english like journalism or teaching
Do you know where I got my username? Is it because you are not human and are in fact a sentient internal combustion engine. Or maybe you're like me and took it from a song?
If you met me would you call me a handsome young man and if so would it be out of pity or would you mean it? Don't worry, I'm sure you're beautiful on the inside. Didn't Christina Aguilera teach you anything?
What is you favourite colour? A nice deep red
Have you ever sought the Holy Grail? I'm drinking tae from it as I type
The Chinese, a great bunch of lads or evil, plotting, communists? (Apologies to any Chinese brethren here) The chinese aren't communist, They're Stalinist. It's a bastardised, Beaurucratic imitation of true communism or socialism. The capitalists in big business have latched onto what happened in russia and China and presented it to the world as evil to discredit true socialism which is the fairest of all political systems. makes me sad. People don't realise the power we could wield.
Favourite alcoholic drink? Just give me Whiskey when I'm thirsty, give me a headstone when I die.
Most pints you ever drank in one night? Managed 15 before but I was fairly well prepared other nights 6 could knock me because my stomach would be empty. I've started drinking whiskey by bottle rather than measure lately in a sitting wouldn't do that out in town though because thats a level of drunk that would end badly out in the big bad town
Favourite band? (As of late) The Clash will never be topped but lately I've been listening to a lot of Talking heads. Phenomenal band
    Favourite song?

Points for anyone who can cop the song that used this as a sample lately
Oasis or Blur? Noel or Liam Gallagher? Noel by leaps and bounds, saw the high flying birds live he's better off without Liam
Oasis or Blur? can i say gorillaz? damon albarn is great.
Kill, Marry, Bang - 1. Miley Cyrus 2. Roger from Sister, Sister 3. Hagrid. kill roger, bang miley and marry hagrid
Do you like Kid Cudi? Really don't like any of the rap from the last ten years. It started out as a beautiful social commentary music, punk rock for african american youth. descended into bling and chauvinism. If i listen to any hip hop on a regular basis it's A Tribe Called Quest.
Go listen to I Wanna be Yours by Arctic Monkeys then tell me if you will think of me every time you hear it from now on or not. It's now our song!
Can you tell I have a few pints in me? your secrets safe with me
Should I stop asking stupid questions? Moar questions!
Favourite Harry Potter? probaly the deathly hallows. I've got a thing for dystopian worlds and rowling really did a good job of creating a world ruled by wizard nazis
Best Harry Potter character? (Obviously Dobby) Fred and George. funniest gingers of all time. Louis C.K eat your heart out!
Is it a disgrace that I did not win a god damn Jizzler? I know how you feel dude
What is your opinion of Frank Ocean? Not an R'n'b fan so I really have no opinion. Don't dislike his stuff though
Women, great banter or more trouble then they're worth? Oh don't get me started. either they're breaking your heart or you're breaking theirs. when i find a happy medium I'll get back to you
Shall I leave and never return to any playpen thread again? Don't go you're great craic
Have you ever committed a murder? Lots of animals when i used to drive although that was manslaughter if they'd moved out of the way theyd have gotten to see their families again, If you swerve you end up in the ditch. . As for people If I told you I'd have to kill you
Did you like school? yeah school was great, friends no financial worry, much better than the real world. college was better though
Do you know what Electioneering is? People Knocking on doors trying to get people to vote for whoever They're canvassing for, usually a blood relative. You ask them about their policies and they get flustered though
I'm off to the pub, meet me for a few scoops? beer beer beer!
    .

Do you own a sound system- Do Guitar amps count? Yes it makes music i guess
Do you own more than one ipod? My ipod met its end to the washing machine. Thanks Mam! Typical
Do you like Soccer? No, I'm excluded from so many pub and work conversations because of it. You see that ludicrous display last night? Ha ha i get that
Do you have a dvd collection greater than.... 109? If we are counting Pirate copies, probably no pirate copies arent cool. i dont judge because im an online streamer watching RTE but the days of pirate dvd's nah
Everywhere i go! This is a song title opinion? I'll put you in my pocket, who will know? ... b*tches always know close enough

What's your favourite way to waste time?

What's your biggest day to day fear? (Not like being burned to death or falling off a roof, which are more like big fears. Mine is losing my car keys).

    Junco! Greerings :)

Any plans for New Year's? Gonna be stuck in work. woot!

How was 2013 for you? Heart-breaking,depressing,hopeful, scary, fun, Sunny, devastating, confident, comfortable, sexy, awkward, cold

If you were dying and could only listen to one last song, which one would you choose? I'd probably throw on "Always look on the bright side of life" Whistling along as I cough up blood

What's your favourite song lyric? There's too many to choose from; It's always changing. There's a line in a Colin Hay song I've been listening to a lot lately.
"When I awoke today, suddenly nothing happened.
But in my dreams, I slew the dragon"
A lovely line which basically sums up the rut I fear my life is falling into. Being stuck in the same auld shtick and having dreams but not the motivation to pursue them.

What's one band/musician you think everyone should listen to at least once? I only get to recommend one?!! no fair there's so many groups that people need to know about!. Um..... The Clash

What's your favourite book? The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Favourite author? I've been reading a lot of Isaac Asimov this year so I'll go with him.

What are you reading now? Was it for this?- John Waters, Our story - The Kray twins and Himalaya- Michael Palin

Live to work or work to live? It should be work to live, but the reality for me at the minute is I live to work, just about scraping by

Do you have any tattoos? No, really want some though, I have three designs picked out but I just can't spare the cash. so fuppin expensive!

What brand of whiskey to you prefer? I switch between Jameson and Bushmills What would you recommend a non-whiskey drinker start with? Go for a bottle of Bushmills It's cheaper than the rest but it's gorgeous.

Favourite pub/club in Limerick? There's a pub on Catherine St. called Bourke's. It's got a real chilled out vibe. real alternative feel to it blues and folk on the speakers, always has live music. full of rockers and hippies, lovely pints great random conversations. Well worth a look.

Do you like cheese? I adore it, I'd eat it out of the packet why bother putting it in a sandwhich it's wonderful by itself

What's your favourite place in Ireland? Anywhere along the west coast, there's something about the coastline there and how violently the sea hits the rocks. There's a wildness to it. It's lovely.

If you were stranded on a desert island with one other person who would you like it to be? Can I say no-one? A desert island with no other people sounds wonderful. peace and quiet. Just leave me a toolbox and I'll make my way home when I'm bored!

What's your favourite way to waste time? Reading, music, Minecraft, Boards.ie, Roosterteeth.com, podcasts, Q.I , Lets Play videos, grass

What's your biggest day to day fear? (Not like being burned to death or falling off a roof, which are more like big fears. Mine is losing my car keys). I'd class myself as a very very weird person but maybe quirky is the right word. And when I'm alone I let all that weirdness out. my big fear is I'll be right in the middle of some weirdness (i.e singing bohemian rhapsody in a cockney accent while waltzing alone because why the hell not) when someone will walk in and they'll know. They'll know how bloody oddish I really am!

Are you a good cook? I'd Like to think so, I work in fast food so sometimes at home I'll make something really extravagent just to prove to myself that i can do more than flip burger meats
What's your favourite meal to make? I like spicy food, so anything involving rice and lots of chili
I made a mean roast chicken once with a chilli butter marinade with roastys and veg must do that again
    .

No,I blame the Tortoise. When I couldn't get on today I instead got up early, ate a healthy breakfeast, went for a jog( abandoned due to rain) went shopping, cleaned my flat from top to bottom, done two loads of washing, made a real, non frozen pizza honest to goodness dinner and was into work early.

Not being able to waste time on boards makes you so productive.

    IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!

    We will rebuild, never forget.

    Boobs or ass?

Neither is really a preference for me. I mean boobs and bottoms are wonderful and all but they're never ranked that high in the equation; Middle of the spectrum for both is the best answer suppose.

a combo of big blue doe eyes and a very particular, hard to describe type of brown hair is something I notice way before anything else Judging from the pattern I've noticed over the last 12 months anyway.

Oh I like this one, can I assume this is an extinction event? possibly with zombies? Zombies are cool. Yup I'm gonna assume the dead don't stay dead.

First I'd get out of the city. High population density areas are bad in disease pandemics. I'd gather a few days worth of supplies food, water, clothes and possibly a rifle although I'd say they'd be harder to find here then back home in the country. I'd then make my way west on foot to the coast along Clare or Galway. Once in the west I'd set about gathering tools, fishing rods, seeds of various types and any and all books I'd need in order to learn how to become self sufficient. Next I'd try to procure a boat , rifle comes in handy here. I'd then make my way to one of the islands of the coast and set up shop. Assuming the islanders havent gone all paranoid and isolationist and try to kill me to protect themselves I reckon I'd be happy enough. I'd hope that any mainland survivors would be too busy trying to fend of the flesh hungry hordes of undead boggers to think of the same thing and head toward my hideout. Over time after I'm set up i'd start making supply runs back to the mainland for fuel, clothes, food , etc and most importantly books.

When do you plan to return to college? I could have gone back last September but I decided against it. I'm having too much fun at the minute. I'm doing my few hours in work. Earning a decent wage;I can spend ridiculous amounts of cash that I wouldn't ever have dreamed of doing when I was in college. I have my circle of friends. I've found my favourite nightspots in town. I'm happy where I am. College is on the agenda but I'm really not in a rush. I want to do english and those degrees are pretty worthless at the minute so I'm in no hurry to drop 10 grand on it and enter 4 years of no money, essays, hungover 9am lectures, fees and exams to come out of it into a job market flooded with people with the exact same degree. I just want to enjoy my 20's for a while. I'll go back when I qualify as a mature student. I would have done it this way first time round if I'd had any sense. Plus 2 years out of college serving food to drunken students has soured my view of them.!

Do you keep a journal? I write sporadically. Don't keep a journal but every now and then I'll open M.S Word and vomit the contents of my mind onto the keyboard. It's usually when I'm in my down periods. I haven't written anything in months.

Current favourite TV show? The Walking Dead has been pretty on fire this season as has Boardwalk Empire. Toss up between the two.

Do you still smoke Samson? Now and again, I'm on Amber leaf now mostly.Got sick of hearing "sorry we don't have Samson" when I went to the shop so I switched.

What would you like to achieve over the next few months? I'm next in line for promotion to manager in work. Should get it by march so that's pretty cool. I've also been going jogging every now and again with Jim from work so if I could get a bit more regimented with that and make it every week or twice a week rather than the days we're both off I'd be happy. Get back to the level of fitness I had two years ago. so in summary; get promoted and learn how to run.

Any new years resolutions? I wanna try and kick the fags. My lungs are in bits. The flatmate has given me his electric cigarette so I need to get cartridges for that and I'll give it a go. He was on that for about a month and he was able to quit fully because of it. so here's hoping. I'll keep a pouch of tobacco for grass though. I'm happy enough with that habit :D /

What 5 famous people would you like to have dinner with?

What did you study in college?

    What's your favourite colour?

What brought you to boards.ie in the first place?

If you had a 3D printer but could only print one thing (by that I mean one type of thing, not just one solitary thing) what would you print?

What are the top three qualities that attract you to someone new? (Could be either a potential friend or romantic situation)

What is something that amazes you?

What's one thing you'd like to change about yourself?

One thing you'd like to learn how to do?

What 5 famous people would you like to have dinner with? Um, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, an american astrophysicist; that dude is hella cool. Stephen Fry . Burnie Burns the creator of Red vs Blue and found of Roosterteeth.com. Henry Rollins, american punk rock musician and finally Jennifer Lawrence who I'd propose to mid meal.

What did you study in college? I did a year of Music Media and performance technology in U.L. It was bits of sound/music production, video editing, media studies , web design, computer programming and my arch nemesis mathematics which ruined it for me. There was also a module on how your brain percieves the world through colours and sounds and stuff, that was trippy

What's your favourite colour? A nice soviet red I guess. Do you ever wonder if we all percieve colours in the same way? Leaves are green but what is green but a word we apply to the colour we see the leaves. our eyes could all take in light differently. My green and your green could be completely different to each other.

What brought you to boards.ie in the first place? I'm actually not sure how I came across boards. No one I know used it at the time I joined so it wasn't word of mouth. I was probably googling leaving cert stuff and came across the l.c forum. I'm here too long to remember now.

If you had a 3D printer but could only print one thing (by that I mean one type of thing, not just one solitary thing) what would you print? musical instruments probably. "I fancy a les paul *click*"

What are the top three qualities that attract you to someone new? (Could be either a potential friend or romantic situation) People who make me laugh whether it be through jokes, quirks or downright oddishness. people I have points of reference with, like the same books, films, bands etc. The big blue eyes/smile combination

What is something that amazes you? Sometimes when I sit on my balcony at night looking at the stars and think about the fact that this crowded noisy world of seven billion people exist on a planet swirling around a star in a galaxy of hundreds of millions of stars in a universe of hundreds of millions of galaxies.we are but a speck of dust in a universe so big that we can't even observe a fraction of a fraction of it. It's astounding to think about.

What's one thing you'd like to change about yourself? I was a pretty tubby kid but when I was sixteen I joined a gym and for about 2 or three years i was pretty fit. still had a bit of puppy fat around my middle but for the most part I was a solid wall of muscle. Then I got a job working nights and also started college and left the gym fall by the wayside. add in to that a heavy smoking habit and I've lost most of the fitness I had. I'd like to go back to the fitness I had 2 years ago

One thing you'd like to learn how to do? Not to sound macho but I'd like to learn how to fight, like properly. Most of the customers we get on the nightshift are drunks, sometimes they get lary sometimes this happens before the bouncers start their shift. Most of us in work have been smacked at one time or another but when you see someone swing at the bouncers and they completely shut the agressor down just by grabbing their wrist and twisting it a certain way. I wouldn't mind knowing some of that just so I don't have to look over my shoulder walking up henry st. at 5 am after work. I've been hassled a few times and usually I can get out of the situation but I won't be lucky forever.
