And I CAN'T DRIVE at all anymore !!!!

Seriously , its like the silly season has wiped any memory I had of driving completely !

Got in the car to drive to the shop this morning and nearly crashed into a wall coming out of the driveway. I couldnt remember how to stop the car

I also slightly mounted the kerb driving into the shopping centre :o

It's a rather curious and somewhat troubling affliction. Though I'm hoping it's only temporary , I rather like driving !

You'd swear all the alcohol I'd consumed over the festive period was just taking its toll. But since I haven't had any at all over Christmas I'm pretty baffled.

So has this ever happened to you ?

Yeah. Once I took a home wine making course and I forgot how to drive.

Nope. Moved away in August, hasn't driven since then, came back for Christmas and hopped into the car and went for a drive without a bother on me.

I'd be fairly worried if I had forgotten how to drive...

Maybe you should have a couple of sherries to settle your nerves before driving?

Nope, I've no car at the moment so often go for months without driving, still don't have any trouble when I get behind the wheel. Kinda like riding a bike ... you never forget!

Let them drive though. You'll look foolish if you forget again!

This should really be second nature at this stage. I'd say that you were just tired and a bit fumbly?

We'll be locked driving a Garda car , either way we're gonna look rather silly. May as well get some practice in , who knows maybe the alcohol will have the opposite effect and I'll be like Michael Schumacher out there !

I hope this is a joke thread. If not you should have your licence taken off you.

He had a skiing accident and broke his neck or something. Of course I watch the news, though Facebook told me that one.

Obviously I meant before his accident :P

I'm hoping so ! I haven't been to bed yet since yesterday either so I don't think that helped. :pac:

I mean in my head I knew how to drive the car , just my body didn't seem to know how so my control and reaction times etc were a bit off

Your so drunk you forgot how to drive AND forgot that you've been drinking non stop for the last week. That's pretty drunk.

You're in charge of a lethal weapon. If you're not able to control it then get the bus.

If you hit somebody when you're mounting kerbs they'll be dead a longer time. ;)

Well how ignorant of them to get in my way !!

Do they not know who I am !? Though I suppose they'll be delighted that their dying moments were spent in such close proximity to one as great as I :D

Also valar morghulis and all that !
