Basic price £440.45 with free shipping to Ireland (UK price 429.99 GBP)
Amazon will issue £100 credit on shipment
Fujifilm will refund E120 upon claiming cashback (promotion open for only UK and ROI residents according to T&C)

Final price would be around 290 Euro which is quite good for that camera.

Note that lens for this system are rather expensive, as there are only made by Fuji at this time if you would want to expand it in future.

Make sure to order camera from Amazon as ordering from other seller would not qualify for promotion.
    Amazon link:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00DM7X6HC

It has quite positive reviews and comes with really good sensor.

Simply fantastic camera...Same sensor as X-PRO1 and X-E1 ..Kit lens isn't brilliant but you could use the 100 amazon credit to get the 35mm :D

Anyone interested in buying, make sure Amazon is selected as the supplier not any other third parties as cash back is only valid on purchases from Amazon themselves

Now price dropped to £397 which makes effective price of of £197 which is really low for camera that can make higher quality pictures than many dSLRs(if comparing optical to digital image transition in camera, dSLR is still significantly more capable in important stuff that happen before making picture like focus, viewfinder, etc).

where do you get £397? It's still showing as £469 or £499 depending on colour.

It's by far the best camera money can buy in that price range by the way.

It is gone indeed, but this morning price was £387.27 (which with Irish VAT makes £396). I did not do screenshot but folks on Hot UK deals seemed to find it as well http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/fuji-x-m1-brown-for-387-before-100-cash-back-from-amazon-100-from-fuji-1785817

Just bought one. This fuji sensor is as good as most DSLR's and with 100 pound amazon credit for the 35mm f1.4 it's a huge bargain alright.

I suppose an EU resident will not be able to claim the 120euro cashback from Fuji? That sucks. Any idea how to circumvent this? I don't really know anyone that could buy it for me.

Not sure where you read that ...it states on the claim form
Claimants must be resident in the UK or ROI.

I'm from EU but not UK/ROI. Which sucks because its UK/ROI only. Does it only have to be paid for by an irish/UK citizen/card or is the account checked as well?

e.g. Can I use my own account but my irish friend's card to purchase?

Surely you could have your invoice address as an Irish address and have it delivered elsewhere.
And fill in the details as your Irish address on the claim form.
They'll probably send you a cheque or cashback via paypal.
Do you have an Irish address you can use ?

I have an Irish bank account, in permanent tsb. Does that qualify for cashback? How do they verify that I'm a resident? I remember trying to qualify for one of those things a couple of years ago as a UK resident, and I couldn't, because I wasn't a UK resident yet (requires a couple of years of continous work or something like that).

Also, can I provide a different address on cashback claim? Seeing how they send a cheque, I want it sent to my new address (I moved recently and havent updated the address on my bank account).

    Sorry about all the questions!

If you have an address you can post it too in Ireland then just do that. Then get someone to lodge it into you ptsb account. It's not about you being a citizen of the Country you just need the cheque sent to an Irish address with an Irish Bank account I'd say.
Oh and you can Edit your Invoice Address with Amazon to be different to your delivery address. They never send the invoice there anyway. You can just print out the invoice yourself online.

Grand, I'll just use my current address as invoice address on Amazon in the first place, never been a problem. Thanks for all the help mate! Got a 250 voucher for christmas to use as well, I'll actually get paid to buy this camera haha
