€6.50 dearer, easier to deal with if it goes wrong, will price match anyway ;-)

I don't have prices to hand but when I was buying last month, the 6 series wasn't much dearer and apparently a much better screen (if your spending this kind of money anyways.) I ended up with a Panasonic after all that though

I got the 47et60 with 5 year warranty for 930 euro but it has since come down in price from Richer Sounds.

I got the 46" Samsung 6 series from Powercity other day for 700. Powercity are great, the lad there gave me a HDMI cable for free plus the wall mount for half price.

I'm debating changing the telly (currently have an old 42" LG LCD that I got on Adverts last year cheap!). How easy are these things to lift into place for one person? Are the new ones that much lighter?

Well mine is only 13.5 kgs with stand, and I was able to fix it all by myself. But if I was going to wall mount, i'm gonna ask my OH to give me a hand.

Cheers.. I'm renting so it wouldn't be going on a wall anyway but good to know they're manageable by yourself :)

    Hey,

What Powercity were you in getting it at 700? I was in today and it's up to 729.

Great set @ the right price!

Ordered a 50" Sharp LED 3D screen yesterday from pixmania for €699 with €12 off (IEPIXSALES12) and 2% cashback via work discount site.

Just seen it dropped a further 60 euro in price today though
    Rather annoying

I'm looking for something in the 500-550 range that's all i can afford at the moment but does anyone know if i can get a decent led smart for that kind of money. would be talking 39 inch or more

it would have to be full hd also. (not asking for much :P)

should be doable, a cursory look at pixmania gives this list

But you might be able to find another good deal somewhere else.
