Simplying a portfolio

I have relatively simple portfolio of shares/etfs of about 8-10 etfs/stocks. However I think I would like to simplify my life even more and reduce that to a minimum. I'm relatively risk prone. With that in mind I was considering selling my current portfolio and replacing it with two ETFs.
The Vanguard Total World Stock ETF and either the Vanguard Total International Bond ETF or the Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF . The latter is all US where as the former has is ex-US.

The two sources of concern I would have, would be the currency risk and the unclear tax treatment of US based etfs

    Any thoughts or comments?
