iMovie & Mavericks

Regarding the issues with iMovie and Mavericks. To give a brief background, I'm running a late 2011 iMac and installed Mavericks when it was first launched, I had the issue with iMovie sitting in a paused position. Then when the update for iMovie was launched on 20th November I downloaded and installed iMovie 10.0.1.

Now my app store updates are prompting me to again install the 10.0.1 update yet this latest update is currently installed and working.

I know it's a simple task of just ignoring the prompt but I was wondering if there is something I am missing or is this just another glitch with iMovie?

    Thanks in advance.

Check you Applications folder. You may have a second copy of iMovie floating around.

Thanks for the quick reply Sad Prof.
I have just checked and there is a folder labeled iMovie 9.0.9 (there is also the up to date iMovie app/logo)
Would this be the problem? Should I delete this folder?

    Thanks again.
