No Sky Sports on Ariva120

    Took the sky card out of the sky box to watch sports in the other room (OH having a Downton Abbey day).

    I have noticed that I can view all sky channels except for sky sports 1,2,3,4,f1. Sky sports news and other channels viewable e.g. Atlantic, Disney etc

    I used to be able to watch sky sports on the Ariva when inserting the sky card but now it's not working. We recently took the HD for €5 a month offer - could this be the issue ?

    The issue is that your contract prohibits you from using the Sky card in anything other than a Sky Box.

    If you are paying for Sky then you are only assured of a service on a Sky box. The Ariva isn't intended to work with a Sky card.

    Your card has been paired to its box, this means HD and other premium content is not viewable unless the card is in the Skybox.

    My advice? Get another OH :D
