Im pretty sure I had a blackout moment here.

I don't ever remember purchasing or being gifted Prison Architect. Yet, I went to go look at it on the sale page, and it said I already owned it.

At one point do you know when you've had too much Steam?

Usually when I check my bank balance at the end of each month.

Apparently I own The Guild 2, as I discovered yesterday. I can only guess that it came as a bundle/pre-order deal, as I certainly didn't directly buy it.

I got XCOM free with something and I've no idea what. I bought a developer pack (Bethesda I think) for peanuts once and I ended up with a ton of id games and others. Every so often I do a wtf when I spot them lurking at the bottom of my catalogue.

Bundles are usually the culprit for me as well.

Best example was when i was watching my friend play Sniper Elite 2 on his Xbox. Told him i was going to get it too because it looked like a fun game. Fast forward to a few hours later and i was looking for something to play in my Steam library. As im scrolling down i notice a greyed out Sniper Elite 2.

It's a great feeling finding out you already own a game you really want to play and didn't know you had it.:D

I noticed I own Train Simulator 2014 on Steam, a game I definitely didn't buy.

Turns out I had bought TS 2012 (?) a few years ago when it was 90% off or something like that, and received free upgrades to it. I must be a fan of the series now, having owned TS 2012, 2013, and 2014..

Happens to me now and then, often I find that the game ends up being one that was bundled with another game that I was primarily interested in when I bought a bundle / pack.

Yeah a couple of times. It's kinda unnerving. I don't buy bundles, my memory is just that bad.

I always say that's half way to happiness. Good health being the other half. At least I like to say that to myself. At times, my memory is like a fish. I forget something a few seconds after thinking it at times. "I was just about to do something... What was it again?"
