If the apartment is pre-wired then no drilling should be necessary, however for sky plus you will need 2 cables. Some apartment blocks only have 1 cable going to the apartment itself and if this is the case, you will only be able to record whatever you are watching, it may not be possible to get a second feed to the apartment without puting up another satellite dish which you may not be allowed to do.

You would be best to ask the management company of the complex who installed it as they may be the only ones able to do any work there or get access to the comm's room should they need to.

You could use a Destacker if you only have one cable in your apartment, this will allow you to have sky plus.

I might be wrong but as far as I was aware isn't there only 1 cable needed now for all the new boxes? 1 cable with the 2 feeds. I could be completely wrong though :P
