Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I failed a subject in my final year and as such it has left me with only a pass degree.
Is there anyway to advance this? Could I transfer to a new college with a similar course and just complete the final year? Is a masters completely out of the question?

    My degree was in biosciences.

I was in a similar situation a few years ago. I failed a module (on attendance rather than examination) and was demoted from a 68.75% avg 2:1 down to a pass degree (most ridiculous rule that makes little sense but what do you expect from this country). I was advised by sympathetic ears in the department at the time to drop out and redo the final year again the next year. I didn't listen to this advice, but I really should have. I eventually did a masters but I had to work for a few years and use that experience to compensate. If you really want to do a masters and can afford the repeat then I'd go that route.
