Fear of abandoned places or big empty places.

    Anyone else got this???

But even though I find them petrifying, I also am a bit obsessed with them.

Like this freaks the hell out of me but I have to look:
    http://distractify.com/culture/arts/the-most-spectacular-abandoned-places-in-the-world/

And I still love searching for places online
e.g. photos of abandoned Rainbow Rapids in Dun Laoghaire
I am pretty obsessed with Pripyat!
And DEAD MALLS! Anyone hear of Dead Malls (in America) have a google!

So anyone else got this fear/phobia? Or know what it is called?

pripyat. abandoned city next to chernobyl. would love to go there. real interesting to see how a city copes with no inhabitants and minimal human interference. read a book called The World Without Us.

Book is very good yes. Its non-fiction so the author does lots of research on abandoned places and consults physicists and biologists.
