It'll mainly be used for general browsing etc but it has to be able to play The Sims 3 and Sims 4 when it comes out, which I've been reading won't be as demanding on the system as Sims 3.

My main concern is if the i5-4200U is up to scratch for playing those games.

No use recommending a desktop as there's no room.
