Pistol lanyard question

Hey guys, hope ye all had a great christmas :).

I have done a few different searches but I cant find the answer to this one problem I have though.

I have a KWC Taurus PT99 and 2 WE Hi-Capa Dragons and I would greatly prefer not to lose any of them from my holster in a skirmish. I had my Taurus get a severe wallop on the concrete floor yesterday during a CQB but if that had happened outdoors, I would not have probably noticed that I had lost the gun due to the forest floor being much softer.

It has actually happened to me twice before but through dumb luck, I just happened to see it on the ground next to me just after it happened .

I have taken to using an M4 mag pouch on my vest to carry my pistol since then as the velcro cover would retain it much safer but the velcro does make quite a sound when I try to pull the pistol and I am down 2 mags carrying space because of this also.

I have seen that there are lanyards available for to save guns from being lost or falling etc but none of my guns have a lanyard loop on the base of the handle (or anywhere for that matter) so I would like to know how can I attach a lanyard to a pistol that hasnt got one?

I have searched all over and no joy si any help would be appreciated :).

You could attach a small cable tie around the grip or trigger gaurd and attach you lanard to that.
