    Hi all
I have just returned home after 4 years travelling (2 years Australia and 2 years New Zealand) and am now back on the jobhunt.
I have 5 years practice experience from Ireland, 1 years industry experience from Ireland and 4 years industry experience from Aus/NZ
I am just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction regarding gaining employment i.e. whether to use an agency or directly through employer and if anybody has any particular agencies they would recommend
    Thanks in advance

I always prefer to go direct, but quite a lot of employers go through agencies and therefore you might need to go through agencies.

I'd advise you contact Brightwater and avoid Hays... personally speaking.

    Good luck.

I'd prefer to go direct but the majority of firms use agencies. I don't think it would be any harm to go to 2 or 3 agencies and see what is around as well as looking directly on the likes of irishjobs.ie and Linkedin. It's over 3 years since I looked but I found FK International and Morgan McKinley ok to deal with. I'd avoid CPL. Dealt with them then and again in my current job.

I can personally recommend Susan Nix in Morgan McKinley.
