    Hi All,

    We are planning a trip to Sweden Mid Feb Looking at Are. #

    Has anyone on here been before?
    We will be a mixed group some of us have loads of experience others will be first timers and everything in between

    Im looking at getting a Chalet or Big apartment has anyone any good contacts for reasonable places that would suit a potential group of 6-10ppl.

    It's a cracking spot! Basically 3 villages on a lake, very similar to most European resorts with plenty to keep everyone busy! Some nice steep pitches and the WC Slalom piste is great skiing

    Booze is expensive, we stayed in the copper hill lodge not cheap but we were not paying for hotel

    Go see the frozen waterfall it's amazing

    Åre is a ****hole, expensive and pretty **** slopes. Have you considered Bruksvallarha? Its real nice, one of the better in Sweden. I have some apartments there I rent out if you are interested-
