Aer Lingus Customer services

One of my bags from flight yesterday did not show up at the airport. Have been trying to get through to Aer Lingus baggage claim number this morning to file report but was waiting for operator for 40 minutes so gave up. Is there any other number I can try? Called customer service operator but they just redirected me back to non-answering baggage claim number, and when I tried calling customer service again, operators had stopped answering that number also.

Would have filed claim at airport but flight had been diverted and had to rush to catch bus to original destination airport. When I got to that airport there was no Aer Lingus agent at the desk.

Resolved. Finally got through to the baggage line, who informed me that I had to report it in person at the airport (contrary to what I had been told in person when arrived at airport initially ). Went to the airport, and guy there let me know that bag had arrived on todays flight so was able to collect it there and then.:)

Still down 30 euro from all the time spent on their premium rate customer helpline.:mad::mad:

FYI: if you don't want to waste money like I did go through the Dublin customer service number they give for international callers and ask to be put through to baggage claims. Do it through skype if you want to save even more.
