Just wondering why does it have to be turned off when loading and what harm does it do when left on.

as it can sometimes drop a few inches if left on when loading so could be a problem if you were trying to be precise (picking up a pallet) and if you had a heavy load on the loader would bounce around.

Have never bothered to turn ours off, couldn't say it was ever an issue although the bottle may have been getting a bit soft on last loader but it had done an awful lot of work at that stage...

there should be a lever, its near the headstock on the MF loaders. should be near the soft drive air tanks anyways

Ya guy who fitted mine told me only to turn it off if using pallet forks

Hardly ever switch it off and in fact the tractor travels better on the road with it than with the loader off

In theory you should have 2 one on the up and the other on the down

They've come down a bit so! Was €205 cash on delivery when we got the first bottle off Nelson, but that would have been back in prob o3-04.

One bottle for single acting but think you do need the 2 for a double acting loader. Would imagine it would slap when it would come back up against the oil at the top of the ram!

Could of been 200 alright have got it about 12 yrs now. Got 2 one for up and one for down ran it like that for years. Then tried it with one turned off and could see no difference. So have used the second elsewhere. Big ish loader quicke 670 about 2 ton lift. On a 120hp tractor given lots of abuse with 12k hrs on it. Buy one bottle as you probably get 95% improvement compared to two. And yes tractor runs better with loader on. Before I got bottles I would take loader off. After getting them I never bother

But the up one doesn't do much.. I got two, so that when/if the down one gets soft I can swap it with the up one.
