99 Almera has finally died due to head gasket failure.
Was laid up for past 6 months and prior to that had a new clutch fitted and a new rad. 2 decent tyres and 3 better than decent and Nissan towbar/lightsocket
Does it have a scrap value and if so whats the best way to get rid of it and realise some cash?
Its drivable so I could bring it to a scrapper or would I phone one of those numbers you see on lamp posts offering to buy scrap motors?
Else will county council ( SDCC area) take it away?
Any help or comment appreciated, I have 1 week to get this sorted and then I am back overseas for work.
    John
