If you go to Reddit.com/r/AppHookup they have links to apps that have become temporarily free.
Though it might come in handy for people who've purchased new phones over the christmas and want and few apps to fill their phone.

If you're on iOs, download AppZapp - currently free - which displays all new apps, apps on sale and apps gone free. It allows filtering by category (eg games, productivity, etc) and also shows whether there are in app purchasing, shows a few screens and sometimes comments from other users. Altogether incredibly useful for bargain hunting.

I searched AppZapp on the App Store and it didn't come up on my phone for some reason but did on my iPad. I'm on iOS7. Good app btw, thanks.
