    Hey guy's,

Just wondering if you could help me out with some things I need experianced help with.

I am in the market for a crewcab 4x4.

My budjet is not alot to be fair. 4000 euro.

I was convinced with getting a mk 3 hilux crewcab 2.4/2.5

Not sure which of the 2 engine sizes which to get.

From checking the prices of them, they seem to hold their value and pricey enough secondhand.

Then I accidently came across a mazda b2500 around the 2003 mark and much less of a price mark.

The use I have for it is light farm work but need the 4x4 for some bog terrain, not pushed about fuel efficently but as long as she is not as bad as the l200.
I will be doing some long distance travels with it as well as short. So would like to know what the drive comfort is like on them bearing in mind I know it's a work vehicle.

Is the mazda an equal performer to the hilux and is it as tough as a hilux.

Any help would be great to clear up a few uncertaintys on them

Yeah, they are. Very tough pick-up. Ranger is the same vehicle and hard as nails, also nice to drive as crew-cabs go and pretty alright on juice. I've a 03 ranger crewcab outside, very happy with it.

Nice one mate, cheers for your response.

Is the ford ranger a copy of the mazda with their own engine.??

Or has it the same engine as mazda..?

different badges just and some trim. I reckon they're better than the hilux and i've had both, but others will disagree. I still reckon though. Cheaper to buy too.
