Advice needed on ?doing a 10k on Sunday...

...I have been only doing "bits" lately like 5-6k runs due to weather, dark evenings etc. My last organised 10k race was in September (60min). I did a 5k fun run in 28min on dec 8th. I am reasonably fit, have been doing jillian Michaels 30 day shred level 3 also over the past few weeks. As a novice runner would I be unwise to try for a steady 10k on Sunday or should I change to 5k?

Any advice appreciated...just don't want to risk an injury or something like that!!

    Thanks :)

You'll be fine. Just take it handy.
