My 450 Honda was clicking like that with a good battery. Solenoid was the next to check but it turned out be starter motor brushes.
Bike bought by me in 02 and first time touching starter.

    +1

If she clicks it's the starter brushes and not the solenoid ...

If it were the solenoid it would start if you crossed it with screw driver

Same as on my honda 400 ... It was the brushes .. eBay e30 and fit them urself

battery is new and fully charged, just click click when you press the button, what the proper way to test the solenoid so i can rule it out...thanks

The click means that the solenoid is working. The solenoid is really a heavy duty switch and the click is it making contact.
It could be the brushes or the ring on the rotor the brushes drive. I can't remember the proper name. It's a ring with individual copper contacts.

if the battery is good - then it is your starter brushes
