Might it be a better idea to replace the entire handle? Those are the simplest doors to take apart :D

Haha ah yeah maybe I should replace the door while I'm at it :D

I can imagine all those parts adding up, would just prefer to stick it back on for now :D

Inside or outside handle? That no more nails stuff is for interior use only but I can't imagine it being great for inside a car. Very cold overnight especially and temps would drop a lot lower than inside a house where the product is designed to be used.

Epoxy glue could work. Very strong stuff but depending on the damage, it might be best just replacing. I'd imagine when opening the door, the pressure on the handle might be too much for the glue to hold it together. Is the handle broken in pieces or did it come off entirely.

Prob worth mentioning that Epoxy glue smells rank as well for quite a while.

The best glue for sticking that door handle on..sadly hasn't hit the market yet, but if you find one that does work, post it up. Wait a week or two for the world to work its magic on any bond you create first in case you're being premature in your celebrations. The ones that are plastic covered with a film of "chrome" can be plastic welded - eg ford ranger tailgate handles and will hold barring severe abuse, but otherwise...forgeddaboudddit. get a new handle..

It's the exterior handle, from examining the door handle, it must have been previously been stuck back on with some sort of black stuff. It's a metal colour coded handle bonded to a plastic insert!

Choice is yours: do it by replacing the handle or do it with glue.

    *Leaves thread ;)

When you say metal, is it an aftermarket chrome cover for the handle?
