    what in yere opinion is the best accommodation for first years and why????

    Weigh up the costs involved and your available budget. And your inclination to actually do some work in your course, and whether you want a part time job or not.

    Go talk to someone in UCC's Accommodation Office and they'll help tease out all the different options.

    Hint: It might sound fun to move into a party house in first year, but you'll only end up failing. Keep the head down in the first year, have your few nights out now and again, and get into good habits for the remainder of your degree.

    i tthink thats the wrong idea, dont keep your head down, go out and socialise, meet people and make connections, itll be harder to do in the years after as youll have more study and everyone will be too busy aswell

    granted, dont fail or anything or go too mad, but dont worry too much about your first year, youll have 2-4 more years to worry about that haha
