What age in to old to pup a bitch in pup is ten to old or will she go in pup she's in heat cupel a days now pups won't be regerstered so be over 8 is not a prob

Yea she seems fine

might be smaller litter but if she is worth it then try her ,,, but then there are plenty of good litters around so you dont have to chance losing her to a litter and no garuntee either way

way too old your looking for trouble shes way past the age for having and rearing a litter of pups

1 of my bitches went in pup years ago aged 9 by accident she had 5 pups after having 2 she got so tired the rest had to be delivered by section
and I had to bottle feed em after 2 weeks as she virtually ran out of milk even though she was fed the best

if you ask any vet id be surprised if any advised you to go ahead and breed her

but if you do I wish you the best of luck with her and hope all goes to plan

At theend of the day we cant argue with nature if nature intends for her to have a litter then no reason why she shouldnt personally I wouldnt id just buy a pup

buy a pup from similar lines if possible

She had two litters before and the one that wos kept wos a 4 yr old very good bitch but got killed (long story)

Hi, surely it will depend on the condition of the dog. Dont think its fair anyone commenting on this unless they see the dog.

A mate of mine has a lab and it reared a litter of 8 pups all healthy and well and his lab was nearly 11. But maybe he was lucky?

I think youll have to leave this to your better judgement! Dont think id be letting the line run out if you think shes healthy and up for it.

A vet check might not go a stray. What about a ovulation test and dont serve her in the prime day. Would this reduce the litter size? I'm sure someone will be educated in this area and maybe could shine a light on it for u.

I commented on my experiences not on seeing or not seeing the bitch imho 10 is still too old but that's just me

Wasnt barking down anyones throat! Wouldnt have much expenence on older dogs just thought id give my opinion. Probably wrong😭!!

didn't say you were barking down anybody throat and apoligies if my post came across that way after all your entitled to your opinion as well as the rest of us I just commented based on a bad experience I had with an older bitch
