Eshop down over Christmas?

Anyone know when Nintendo will get the Eshop working again, bought a 3DS and the eshop only slightly worked yesterday morning now I just keep getting errors when trying to connect.

I've been unable to access the store for the last couple of days now myself, couldn't do an update to play Pokemon neither. Your link is for the US store btw.

This is the UK and Ireland one, not as much info as the US.

Got into it once yesterday morning, but errors ever since. Was looking forward to downloading a few classic games.

Ah well, hopefully they'll sort something out soon.

yeah, I was after the sega 3d classics like Shinobi 3 and Space harrier.

My Son got the Zelda Wii U pack for Xmas. Tried for last two days to get the game downloaded but until just a few hours ago wasn't even able to get onto the Eshop.

Finally got on and entered the code to download the game and the connection crapped out again.

When you go on now it says the code has already been used but when you check out your downloads it not there to proceed with. Email sent Nintendo Support for help.

This just isn't good enough. Luckily the son had other games to keep him occupied.

I wanted to buy sonic 1 & Mario bros 3 for the 12th time lol

I was going to spring on SMB3 and Ducktails myself. y u so bad at internet Nintendo?
Steam had to give away a game to get even 1/3 of this disruption.

Have to agree, it REALLY isn't good enough. Considering they're in an up hill battle now surely they should have made SURE that something like this wouldn't happen. Quite disappointed. However if the store isnt working for me tomorrow I'll be majorly disappointed.

I was taking it as a sign that I should do other things with my time than game, but feck it, I want to play Earthbound again.

This morning, after two error messages, got third time lucky. Eshop now working for me and was finally able to link my Club Ninty and Ninty IDs. SMB3 is finally available for €3.99!

Good luck to anyone else trying to get on this morning.

Working for me too! Picked up ZombiU in the sale, will prob get Super Mario Bros 3 later (yay upgrade fee from owning it on Wii )

Update !!

Good News..... I logged on this morning before setting off to work and managed to get in and start the download with no issues. Just got off the phone and the youngfella is playing away at Zelda The Windwaker. Its a great game that I still have on the Gamecube.

Hopefully the server/online issues are now resolved.
