Hi Lads, just wondering what's the most popular or best boots for Hurling? Should I get blades or studded boots? Cheers

Taking up rugby and hurling in the one week? Fair play...

Meantime get moulded studs for the hard ground and long studs for the soft. Don't bother with the blades.

I wouldn't be too concerned to be honest. In terms of performance in hurling once you have right type of boots for hard ground and soft ground it doesn't matter. Manufacturers will claim that some boots are better than others etc but it's irrelevant in hurling. I'd focus much more on getting a hurley you like.

i think everyone prefers having puma kings or addias copa mundial/world cups. Molded studs seem to be the preferred choice. Me myself have Puma Estio's. There like a cheap version of the kings and have soft grounded studs. Fecking grand if ya ask me
