I have hardly no memory. Is everyone like that?

How much would it be to buy a memory card?

Get a memory card and move over whatever it will allow you to. Unfortunately with the S4 there are many apps where this is not possible.
You can also go through the apps and clear the cache on each.

You only have 9 GB of space out of the box. Get a memory card for media and keep internal for apps.

9GB is a pretty small number for media and apps these days

What does clearing the cache mean and how do I do it?

If you've got a lot of photos consider moving most of them onto a computer or some alternative storage space.

    Goto Settings More Application Manager.
Each app you select will give you options to move to sd card, clear cache etc.

Ifs clearing memory held in a cache for an app to sometimes open and run quicker. IE on maps some of the map may be in the cache instead of downloaded again.

Did you record any HD video? That can take a lot of space.

... and install something like Cleanmaster. It can help you clear out lot of junk.

i mean 16gb = 9gb straight out of the box wtf is that all about? that's 7 gb wasted on preloaded apps.

Im using a Nexus 5 32GB and wanted a change

I was looking at the iPhone 5 but then i thought why would i waste money a device nearly double the price for some thing with such low comparable spec and with a pure lack of inovation. Same old same old.

Think ill come onto a forum and dig up a few month old thread just to tell everyone

All jokes aside the internal memory on the s4 is a joke, well not the size as such but the fact the stock ROM is so bloated with crap you never use , you can throw a huge sd card in and your flying but with some restrictions. Thats one of the reasons Nexus devices have moved away from expandable memory, it compromises the speed and integrity of the OS.
