If a product is sold in one place for 10, a second place for 100 and a third for 1000 that doesn't make the place that sells it for 100 a bargain.

GTA was £35 at launch and can now be gotten in a few places for £25 to £30. This isn't cheaper than everywhere else hence not a bargain.

It's not a bad deal, just not great.

    Amazon since it's been released.

It was €20 in gamestop for a bit.

In your previous comment, you said it was £35 at launch?
Checking camelcamelcamel shows its never been below £30 (unless a flash deal possibly) on amazon.
So something doesn't add up there.
Lay off the OP a bit, it's Christmas! It's not a ground breaking bargain but it's the cheapest I've seen it.

£35 at launch and then since a week or two after its been around the same as it is now.

Lay off the OP a bit, it's Christmas!.

I'm not giving out about the OP, I think people would just be better off waiting until it goes on sale. All you have to do is do a search on boards for GTA V to see this is the price it's always been.

Christmas has nothing to do with this and is completely irrelevant to the discussion and stop trying to force your religion on me, not everyone has the same holidays as you, thinking that they do is just pure ignorance.

Look at the graph. It wasn't that price from a week after release. It's never been this low.
I'm not trying to force any religion on you. As an aside, Christmas is a time of good cheer for me with no religious meaning.
Going back on topic, you're plain wrong about the price, and camelcamelcamel backs that up.

I've seen it several times on amazon for this price, I don't know about that link. and as I said before it was €20 in gamestop for ages, its been £30 in game for a good while too.

The girlfriend paid €40 for it at launch, you'd expect at least €10 off that by now before I'd consider it as a bargain.

It's never been this low on Amazon. I have a price tracker in place to alert me when it hits low prices.

That graph shows every price change the product has gone through, unless you are talking about 3rd Party sellers, which is a completely different story.

As for Game, it was £22 a few weeks back for a weekend but that was it, it went back up to £35-40 afterwards.

As for Gamestop, unless it was on sale I never once saw it for €20, and seeing as I was looking there very often since November I doubt I would have missed it.

Great spot OP, IMO, but Game also have it for this price now as well, for anyone that way inclined!

Well you keep saying that it's not a bargain, but post a link to shop in Ireland that sells it for that price please. event Argos sell it for 58 Euros currently I don't think I've never seen a New Xbox 360 game for 30 Bucks. They are usually between 50-60, new releases. This is probably one the most anticipated Games of the year, so no way this was retailed for 30-40 Euros when launched. I wanted to buy it when it was released few moths ago but didn't want to pay 50 something Euros. If it was 35-40 I would have bought it long time ago.

It's €10 in GameStop if you trade in 2 of a list of games, one of the older GTAs can be gotten for €5 in GameStop and is on the list, buy two of them, and then trade them in for GTA V for €20.

If you check the GTA preorder thread you will see that it could easily be gotten for €40 at launch.

Rubicon, you won't find value if you only check shops in Ireland, there is plenty of value to be had online. I also heard it was €45 at launch in Tesco.

Hi man, perhaps you are having a bad Christmas or something. Few people here have already posted that it is a bargain. I was in 2 Games in Cork and didn't see any game for 5 Euro. Anyways not everybody have or want to trade in their games so you can't really have that comparision. The cheapest I found on this thread was posted 3 weeks ago for 29.99 sterling, which is 3 pounds more than this bargain.

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=87829505

So if you want this game new (without trading), you either pay 50-60 euros currently in irish shops or avail of the Amazon bargain. As simple is that. Merry Christmas!

Game closed down ages ago in Ireland. Amazon isn't the only online retailer. I have already said you will never find value in an Irish retailer. Gamestop sell the pre owned games and will also let you trade them in on the spot for your copy of GTA for €10.

Have to say myself this is certainly one of the better prices I've seen for it online or in shops recently (provided you're not arsed messing about with buying and trading in games to get it cheaper). Got it for €40 pre-ordered on Amazon couple of weeks before release and the price went up a good bit a couple of days after I ordered. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it at that price myself had I not already got it and I'm always conscience of price! :)

It was €54.99 in tesco at launch. Trading in games against it does not compare to a cash price in store or online. Its a bargain at this price.

As someone who was looking to get GTA this IS A BARGAIN. Thanks OP.

Also, get a grip, its Christmas day. Spend your time with others rather than dismissing the OP's find as some type of abominable act.

I smell festive shoite being broadcast.

This IS a bargain, and there's no no need to trade in games to get it at a price GarIT thinks makes it a genuine bargain.

Grab it while you can, maybe it'll drop a bit in Jan, but at the moment this is a very nice price. Heat added (sorry, thought I was on HUKD) :D

How is that relevant? They sell it new for €20 if you use that deal.

That list has changed, as was noted in the thread here. It's all new games on the list now so the bargain isn't applicable anymore.

Right now it is the best price available, and it is the best price it has been in a good while.
