It could be a poor quality disc. Are other discs working? You can download minecraft from its website

    Not sure..

I got the disc on Ebay with no serial number or anything.

I registered my email address on the site, but when you goto download minecraft, all you can get is the demo. Im not sure what the steps involved are.

How much did you pay for the disk? (I did't even know minecraft was on a disk for PC tbh!)

lol, you bought a disk off eBay? Sounds like you've been completely and utterly had - why on earth didn't you just buy it from Mojang directly?

You've been scammed by the sounds of things. You may be able to claim a refund through E-bay buyer protection.

This is what you want. There is no CD, just a direct download. 20 euros.

    How much you pay, OP???
Myself and everyone else here would paid on the Mojang website and downloaded it straight away! It's only a small file. Sounds exactly like a scam!

I don't even think that Minecraft does disks, (except for Xbox, but they use a third party publisher for that version) cause disks in comparison to bandwidth is a lot more expensive.
