hdd drive for 360 slim. does it work on regular 360 elite?

    Got a new hd tv and spotted some games need another bloody drive to save to. Seen a lot of them online but to the xbox 360 slim. Are they one and the same in terms of compatibility. Thanks anyone who can help

    No. But depending on what model of the xbox slim, you can dismantle the Elite's hdd enclosure and install the harddrive into the slim, using something to hold it in like styrofoam. It works as a quick solution, but it voids the warranty of the hard drive and is a bit risky. Also it won't work with the 4gb model.

    You're better off just buying a hard drive for it.
