    The Africans would probably be even more unprepared than we would be for snow. I doubt they have much salt stockpiled.

    I know there is no harm in this thread at all and it's meant as light-hearted, but on the other hand - it serves as a good reminder that not everyone is as lucky as some of us this Christmas. Let's not make a joke of that.
