Ford Connect not going

    My friends 2007 1.8 tdci ford connect van has just stoPped on him.
    Suppose to be a problem with the injector pumps ecu, can the ecu fault be corrected or whats the best way to sort this problem

    She needs to go on a diagnostic but you could try disconnecting the battery for 10 mins she might just clear herself

    If the car just dies it could be just about anything. Get stored codes read.

    yes tried all but no luck, scanned and its seems to be fuel pump ecu fault

    no point diconecting anything it does nothing,, did the car just stop while driving? is the glow plug light ? is there 4 horizontal lines across the digital display when the ignition is on.

    if the car stopped while driving id be more looking at broken t belt. if you came out and it just wouldnt start id be looking at fuel system , usually when there is a fuel system fault the glow plug light will flash while cranking, do not try to open the fuel pipes to try bleed the fuel system as this automattically turns the high pressure pump off,
