Pretty much all PS+ games, still good deal.

Thanks OP! There's some really good bargains hidden in there. Also great value to be had on some of the two for €30 list too. Wasn't very impressed with the two for €50 offerings though. I suppose it's all down to what you're interested in.

That list is insane, you'd be hard pressed to find any of those games costing more than €10 on PC. Tomb Raider was €3.50 on pc over the last 2 days.

It's all down to what you're looking for. I was after xbox 360 games and between the €20 and €30 lists I got a few gems. There's a lot of fillers on the lists but there's genuine bargains too.

I know, its a bargain for consoles but I'm just realising how bad it really is for console gamers.

How is that relevant to this?

Try and play GTA5 on an 8 year old PC

Try and play it on any PC.

anyway I think he was basically saying that console gamers have always paid a lot more than most PCgamers do

Think what he/she meant was people could have bought a machine 8 years ago and have only had to buy games while someone with a PC probably had to thrown in a new part or 2 over the time period. Although I would guess that many have had to buy a new console or bigger hard drive at some point.

Anyone know yet if these deals are online only, website is a separate entity to the in store offers, usually.

Same instore usually I find. I just get them instore on these deals, and if they have different prices as compared to the website, they usually amend them if you get the manager I find.

Has anyone received games from this offer yet? I placed my order Christmas Day and still no games. Emailed them a week ago and have had no reply. Not very impressed!

I got mine. They were very late shipping, but they came about early last week.

Hopefully you get yours. Not too professional of them to ijnor emails,

I ordered on 25 Dec too, emailed them at the start of the week after hearing nothing and got a curt email saying no stock and they had cancelled the order. Wasn't too impressed though the cash was back in my account the next day so that's something at least.

That's awful. They should tell people if they're out of stock! At least then we might have been able to get something in the shop. I'm sure all the decent ones will be gone by now.

Made a big order on Christmas eve as it was an excellent promotion they were running with some really good value, anyways like you i didn't hear anything so sent them an email on January 6th to which they couldn't be bothered to respond to, ive had to open a paypal case to get a refund which ill have to wait till the 19th to get.

    Disgusting behavior, very disappointing.

It's really unprofessional behaviour! Not having enough stock is one thing but just ignoring people is shocking. I didn't use paypal unfortunately so I guess I'll have to spend my lunch tomorrow shouting at them on the phone.

I know especially from a big company like gamestop there's no excuse for ignoring emails, looks like it was a very badly run promotion on there end.

    Best of luck tomorrow :)

seemed to be plenty of stock of most of these instore.

The "customer service" just keeps getting better! I rang the number on the website numerous times today but kept getting a voicemail. Left a message for them but of course they never rang back. Also sent another email to which I just got an automated response. Anyone have any idea where I stand? I paid with debit card so I'm presuming to get a refund they actually have to refund me?

Hmmm. I just assumed that I haven't heard anything about my order in 16 days because most Irish online retailers are completely and utterly hopeless and among the very worst in the world. (Some very honourable exceptions to that generalisation of course).

But now I am wondering what to do after reading this thread. Did email them but no response. Would like to give them the benefit of the doubt but how long before you would open a Paypal dispute folks ?

I'd open the Paypal dispute immediately. Like you I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they've now ignored two emails from me and a voicemail. I'm ringing my bank this afternoon to see if I can do a chargeback on the payment.
