MEGA cloud app only working on wifi

So I decided to top up credit to use internet (was the first time, something I never did..) to avail of the 20 eur O2 plan for 7.5 gb of data.

Mind you I would always have used wifi even when out and about where I could.

I have a query so if someone has come across a similar issue I would love to know.

*Trying* not to use as many services as I can where servers reside in USA etc.. so I switched from Dropbox to 'Mega' (mega.co.nz - jim dot com et all..)

It's quite smiliar, maybe not as slick but gets the job done. Now I've noticed quite an annoying little quirk.

If for example I had a text file uploaded to Mega via a web browser say on my laptop. All good.

Now when I try to download that file from the Android app on my phone via wifi, no problem. Everything is fine.

When I try to use 'Mobile Data' to download it.. I open it up with my usual text editor .. it's all gibberish text.

If I upload a photo or file over wifi with mega, uploads no problem. When I try the same again with mobile data it goes and says uploading (or even downloading) and the file isn't there.

So the Mega android app is working fine over wifi, and also via my laptop over wifi.

But whenever I switch to Mobile Data, It's like certain packets are getting lost and it corrupts the whole process,

has anyone come across this?
