Aaargh, no charge!

    What a time for this to happen! I updated to 10.9.1 yesterday evening as you do. I took out the laptop a while ago and the charger seems to have decided to no longer work, having being grand last night. I've verified and repaired the disk along with the permission, reset my SRC and PRAM and it's made FA use. Ive even checked the cable and it's not the issue.

    My last option is to try another charger but that's out until Thursday when the shops reopen. And to think that I got a new battery only a few weeks ago, grrrr!

    Any ideas or help, guys? :confused::confused::confused:

    Ash around to see if a friend / relative can let you borrow a charger? Thats probably your only solution at this stage? Maybe try and look on adverts/donedeal for a quick sale?

    Normally yeah but at this time of year it wasn't an option as the Mac owners I knew either were away or had kids so I wasn't going to annoy them. Ads would have been an option as well but again, this time of year.

    In the end I got word that CompuB were open so I popped in and after a quick once over to be sure, a new charger was bought.
