SEPA Direct Debit Services

    Hi,

The 365 'SEPA Direct Debit Services' options appear to be a totally manual process requiring customers to fill in online forms. Is this going to be automated in the future?  If would be more customer friendly to be given a list of existing mandates and allowed to press Enable/Disable and Delete buttons beside them.

Are there plans to give customers advance warning of new mandates being setup?  This is after all the reason new SEPA debits must be sent to the bank 6 days before they are debited.

For SEPA Refunds you are requiring customers to fill in a paper form and post it off.  Are there any plans to automate the 8 week 'no-questions asked' refund?

When is the money (including lost growth) Michael Noonan took in the Pension Levy going to be paid back?

    Hi Tow,

Thanks for taking the time to get in touch with us.

There are two ways in which the new SEPA Direct Debit Service forms can be accessed on 365 online.

-Manage Accounts - forms accessed via the "SEPA Direct Debit Services" menu option
-Online Service Desk - dropdown option "SEPA Debit Services"

When you complete one of these forms on 365 Online an email will be automatically sent to the Debtor Services for processing. Accessing the SEPA Direct Debit Service through the Online Service Desk is the most automated process we currently have in place.

The only exception to this is refunds. Refund forms must be downloaded and you must print, sign and return to the address specified.

When setting up a mandate you must still either sign a mandate or give permission over the phone to the originator.

Further information on SEPA Direct Debit Services can be found here on our website.

We are sorry that you feel this service is not customer friendly, however we appreciate your feedback and have forwarded it to the relevant area.

    We hope this helps.

    Elaine
