Oh Holy Night without a doubt.

When it gets to "Fall on your knees..." I just get tingles. Sounds Amazing...

I'm going to be boring here and say Oh Holy Night as well. Beautiful carol but probably the toughest one to sing!

Gaudete - the latin chorus has the right note of joy and expectation.

2/ See amid the winter's snow.
3/ Ding Dong Merrily on High.
4/ Hark the herald angels sing.

... as Christians we have such a tremenduous cultural (as well as faith) heritage ... some of the most beautiful music and art ever produced by Mankind!!!

    Have to agree. :)

This is a beautiful hymn - 'and the soul felt its worth, the thrill of hope ....'
    is my shiver moment.

    Only seven replies

And I thought it would be a Christmas 'Caroltastic' thread, seeing as its in the Christianity forum.

Same time, same place, next Christmas.

I know I was thinking the same, looks like there's not many Christians here into the carols and festive spirit.

Even Richard Dawkins joins in on the Christmas Carols...

In the bleak mid winter is probably my favourite.

    Silent Night too is beautiful.
