Not that it was needed but encouragement and inspiration to keep going into 2014. It might even give a few others here on the forum a kick in the ass to get their photography back out of the wardrope. (*hides*)

Wow! Amazing result.
I remember seeing him in the competition at the start of the year. Fantastic that he stayed up at the top of the table.

I'll have to keep an eye out for the 2014 competition, would be good for motivation.
Is it publicised in Dec 13 issue or Jan 14?

It is a ten month competition and I think it starts in February!

Thanks for all the encouragement guys. I was a bit disappointed in the end as I dropped down the leaderboard in the last 4 rounds. But it was at least an improvement over last year when I finished 10th.

It would be great to see some more entries from boardies in next years competition. The standard here is way above what I have seen elsewhere. For example, I have never had a POTY here - imagine what some of the really good togs on here could achieve!

AFAIK the details for this years competition will be published in the 1st March issue of the magazine. It will hit the shops on Tuesday 25th February and the information will probably be on the web site by about 10.00 or 11.00am on that date. Its usually posted in the forum section of the website with links to the details.

So you dont' need to buy the mag to enter? Think I'll buy it anyway, feel that if I'm going to enter might as well support them.

Now I just wait with anticipation for round 1, see that I come nowhere, same with round 2 and then get dishearthed....
