I want to make the most epic rasher sandwich known to man. I have rashers, smoked of course. A loaf of pat the baker and a varity of condiments. Should I go mad and add sausages too? Would a fried egg be ott? What would you do?

Butter the bread, fry the rashers in a pan. Put the rashers between two slices of the aforementioned buttered bread. Slice diagonally. Enjoy.

The best bacon sandwich is the minimalist bacon sandwich.

Toast, small bit of bbq sauce, rashers, and then grill cheese on top.

Wrap the sausages in the rashers and boil it inside the egg then serve it in a tower of cheese sauce and wash it down with a nice cup of bread

Whatever you do, do not butter the bread. That is criminal.

    Dip, always dip the bread.

How does one dip bread in butter?

Fry off a bit of onion, stick it over the bacon. Sprinkle some grated cheader over it. Lightly grill to melt the cheese and wallah a feast fit for a king.

Fry the meat stuff in butter.

Toast the bread on one side (like Englishmen do).

Fry two eggs on a low heat until they are just cooked.

Spread some butter on one slice of toast (the untoasted side, obviously).

Spread some brown sauce on the other slice of toast (untoasted side also, obviously).

Put an egg on each piece of toast (untoasted sides, obviously).

Slice the eggs yolks. Pinch of salt.

If cooked right, they should run with the consistency of melted chocolate.

Put rashers on top of one egg and half sliced sausages on the other.

Smear a smidgen of Coleman's English mustard on both pork based items.

Life both pieces of toast and bring all together with force enough that the butter on one slice, merges with the brown sauce of the other.

Take a bite of the beast and wash it down with a mouthful of tae.

Bit of honey and spice will do the job. Alternatively, some mustard. Salad for a bit of crunchiness.

Fry the rashers till they're brittle, toast the bread, butter both sides. Place crispy bacon on one slice of buttered bread, smear the rasher with brown sauce, other slice of toast on top.

If you want to be fancy, you could use Ballymaloe Relish instead of brown sauce.

No shortcuts to perfection but would suggest just bread and butter if he's being drinking. Cookers and alcohol don't mix. Had a mate that once went home locked, stuck the chip pan on and fell asleep on the sofa waiting for the oil to heat up. No word of a lie, he woke up to the sound of the dining room in flames.

This was a time before smoke alarms.

I set my own kitchen on fire once. Was home from school for lunch and put some crispy pancakes under the grill and got lost watching the goings on of Charlene on Ramsey St and next thing I know my mother comes home and starts screaming that the house was on fire.

What the fcuk am I talking about. Off to bed with me.

Slice the skin off the sausage, break up into little pieces and fry in a little oil & butter. Once cooked, leave on a plate to the side for now

Add a little more butter, then slap the bread onto the frying pan you just cooked the sausage in. Do both sides, then remove.

Fry the rashers, and simultaneously poach the egg until gooey.

Put the sausage meat on top of the fried bread, and put cheese on top. Pop under grill until cheese is melty. Remove from grill and add rashers, followed by poached egg.

Step 1: Chuck the rashers in the bin.
Step 2: Go to the shop and get something else.
