Just a quick thought

This absolutely amazing film idea has just popped into my head and I can't believe how good the idea is. I've never had a good idea before in my life and this is just after floating in to my head. I know the AH people will take the piss out of me now but I don't care. How do I go about getting this film made?

All the great movies start with a great idea.

Usually that idea is backed up with very hard work, years of rejection and hardship, writing talent, and finally, after all that trauma and the loss of all your hopes and dreams, disappointment.

If you're serious, start writing. When you have an elegant script, get an editor. Then write a business plan with all your costings and all your R and D spelt out to show a decent profit if properly financed, then seek venture capital to fund it. Then seek the appropriate talent to direct, film, dress, edit and do whatever else your production demands. Then send it for a years post-production work.

Then, finally, after all that thought and effort - you get your red carpet moment.

Then watch it flop.

It's about this girl who falls in love with this other girl who's about 3 or 4 years younger than her. Anyway the butch one is the main character and shes dating this really hot lesser. Anyway after a few months life is perfect and all for her until the really pretty lesser starts becoming violent with the butch one and it grows on from there
I've had loads of ideas for individual scenes and all.
I want the girl from groundhog day to play the pretty lesser, or Juliet Roberts. The Butch one can be Pat Butcher from East Enders or someone like that. But she's going to be the main character and a really nice person!
