The most underrated player in the Premier League . Without doubt our ( Man Citys ) best player . Winner of 2 European Championships and a World Cup . Mainstay in them winning teams . 5 goals and numerous assists even though he missed a month or so of the league so far . Ran the show against United and was head and shoulders above Ozil when they played last week . Hard to believe he is still only 27 ...

No he is pretty highly rated. Not right up there with the very best players in the world but a very useful player indeed.

    He's not underrated at all.

    Different player to Ozil.

Ozil can be quiet all game then two killer passes and another two assists to his total.

69 assists in three season for Madrid I think says it all.

He has 5 goals and 8 assists too for Arsenal despite being below par and its only December.

Is he really that underrated? Think everybody is aware that he's a special player. There's definitely magic in those boots. Oh one small thing. He wasn't a mainstay of the 2010 World Cup side. He barely got a look in during that tournament.

and it was Fabregas and Iniesta who made the difference in the final.

I don't think anyone underrates him. We all know how important he is to City.

Why is that hard to believe? He's actually 28 in a few weeks. Not like he's 21 or 22.

Not sure how you can be left in no doubt with Aguero knocking about!

Silva's a brilliant player but is a bit prone to spells of inconsistency throughout a season, maybe mainly down to his injury record. I can't ever remember him ripping up the league for an entire season, he's only ever done it in spells.

Yay and Aguero are arguably Cityus best players with Silva.

Also Silva NOT a mainstay in Spanish team all the time. Especially the world cup.

Still, absolutely quality, and in just about everybodys Top 10 premiership players.

Graces the premier league. Lucky to get to see him every week.

    Nobody underrates him.

This was Kompanys reaction to not being mentioned in that sentence

TheNap underrates people's ability to rate very good players.

    'only 27'... 'underrated'...

    ?? not sure if srs

I think he's rated pretty fairly. Right now I'd put Kompany, Aguero and Yaya all ahead of David. He's gone back a bit over the last two years

Imagine how good he'll be when he turns 28. Frightening.
