Season 5 and "The Final Season"

    So I went in to HMV and bought Breaking Bad The Final Season (25 Euro) for my Dad for Christmas, and on wrapping my presents today, I see that "The Final Season" is in fact only the second half of season 5, and that the first half, is called Season 5.

    How are they allowed to get away with this? I feel that it's a very cheeky thing for a company of that stature to do something like this. They advertise them both as full seasons, and price and sell them at the same rate as a full season. Was this the reason that Season 5 had a years gap in the middle?

    It's basically 6 seasons.
