Something like Meguiar's ScratchX will do a bit of a job on them...not sure how much will come out, but will definitely take the nasty look off them!

Hand polishing wont do a thing for that I'm afraid, but you can try ScratchX. I'd even be extremely doubtful from the pictures if machine polishing would get rid of those.

If you are doing it by hand I would recommend ultimate compound, definitely won't remove the marks though I'm afraid. Bilt Hamber Auto Balm will probably hide them fairly well but will only last a short time.

Here is an example of the Auto Balm doing it's thing.

Lads can wear nail varnish too. Usually wear same color as jumper. Got to coordinate you know. 💅

Finally got a chance to have a go at scratches with the scratch X yesterday. Was impressed. Got most of each scratch out. I know I just did not give each scratch enough time as the rain was on the way back. Trouble is, once you start you find scratches all over car. I nearly would add a step between detar and polish, all over scratch X 2.0. Lol. Before and after shot.
