Seen some really big trolleys in Aldi this past few days so people are definitely using that €20 voucher.

And if anyone is stuck for what to buy in Aldi, they have just started doing roast beef on the bone, for E20 - E25 each.

We had one yesterday and it was absolutely georgeous, nicer and heavier/cheaper that the one I bought in Superquinns, two weeks ago. It would easily beat the old turkey and ham on Wednesday.

Only two people in our house. By god it was a struggle to get a hundred quids worth of things into the trolley. Id probably be able to carry out 100 quids worth of food from tesco in two bags

Same here. We were almost at the stage where we needed a second trolley. I thought we had gone way over the €100 but it came to €97.71 so I had to go and get a 6 pack of fizzy water to bring it over. There was no alcohol in that (mightn't be so hard to get to €100 with alcohol included)

got it to 101 yesterday with a trolley full

got stuff i wouldnt normally get like venison steaks and
    quail (never had quail before)

still no rossini, such a shame there that they dont sell
    it anymore

Doesn't seem to be nationwide. It was refused when I tried it just now in my local Aldi. Had a €10 voucher though, so wasn't so bad

I suspect the cashier may have meant the vouchers are valid until Christmas Eve
as there is separate 10 Euro voucher for today and tomorrow

I only got to 90 today over in East Wall so could only use the 10e voucher. Got some amount of food and other bits.

Is there? I have one valid from today to the 31st. That's the one I used. The €20 off €100 spend ran out on Sunday. But OP said he was told they were honoring them till tomorrow, from my reading.

Would you not have grabbed something worth €10 and got the lot for €80? :D

I would have but the queue behind me was massive. I really thought it was going to be around 115. Darn my poor mathematical ability

I heard that tescos are accepting the Aldi vouchers.
A friend was in tescos with over €100 worth of stuff and asked do have a Aldi voucher, we will take it, she didn't have one.

    anyone else confirm this?

Edit: In relation to what Scoop64 is saying - that Tesco are accepting these vouchers?

I would seriously doubt it....someone is just about to pay over €100 to the cashier and they ask do they have a coupon from another retailer to get €20 off  I think not

so would I! But Scoop64 says a friend was offered just that....I know that the pizza shops used always do this, but never a supermarket...

It wouldn't be unheard of to accept a coupon from a rival.
