Would it be against the terms and conditions (of PP for example) to make the same bet multiple times to avoid the max payout? Also, what do they do if a bet payout would exceed the max payout for that sport, if only by a small amount, void bet or payout the maximum? Thanks.

Most bookies rules state "Max Payout per customer/group of customers".
You will get paid the Max amount whatever that is.
Best of luck getting it :).
