Fire re-ignited tonight and gutted the Greenmount restaurant next door and the apartments above it, unreal, it must have been smouldering from when it was extinguished earlier, that's 2 businesses destroyed now!

A huge blow for a part of the town that was already on its knees.
Can't understand why fire brigade didnt stay on site as reading the online article they didnt enter the first burnt out buildling.

The nature of that fire meant that the structure of the building was deemed too unsafe for five units of the Fire Service to enter.

That meant they were unable to ensure that all embers had been properly extinguished. The fire service were back on scene twice yesterday, including once shortly after midnight, to deal with fire starting up again but the latter unfortunately spread to the neighbouring Greenmount at 47 Clanbrassil Street, causing it extensive damage.

Quiet you, can't criticise the brave lads.

How many times did it go up altogether in the end?
